You know what, usually when I go to a show to review, I try to get an idea of the sound, the atmosphere, yadda yadda yadda, but this time around, I really focused on the fact that both headliner Pedro the Lion and opener Futur Thym just seemed like they were having a great time performing for the couple hundred people who came out to see them.
I love seeing joyful acts. Plus, I got to goof around with my silly little lens filter I snagged after seeing Racketeer Alisha’s work with one. A+ for a silly little night out. Anyway, Pedro the Lion’s on a 30th anniversary tour, so they have quite a bit of material to work with to put together a paper plate’s worth of a set list.
