LMFAO Live
February 28, The Hudson Theatre, San Bernardino, CA.

For one night only, the Inland Empire transformed itself into a crazy night in Vegas complete with light shows and party people. Unfortunately, the alcohol and slot machines went missing. Regardless, Sin City Massive lived up to its name and it was the biggest event held at the Hudson to this day. LMFAO headlined the sold-out event and they return with Dr. Hollywood at the Thank You Party on June 6th with more details to be announced online.

Now back to Sin City Massive itself. In the newly expanded Hudson facility, there was an area that fit 1800 people, plus an outside circus tent. If that wasn’t enough, the side warehouse next to Gotham and the 2000 capacity “new area” redefined the word massive. This rave was more than just “a celebration of love, life, and sin,” it was a total body experience. The sensory overload in all four areas of the building guaranteed a memorable story the next morning.
Chappelle’s Show. In all its glory on the two big screens, Chappelle, dressed as Rick James, repeatedly violated a piece of furniture. It became an instant classic and it was unexpected in a venue like this. All the while, people waited in baited breathe for the guests for honor, LMFAO to take the stage.

The breakthrough artists brought down the house past midnight and put the sin into city. People started crowding the stage during “I am Not a Whore.” Camera phones lined up in the air as the crowd tried to capture the moment. The rave turned into a concert as the crowd sang along, like it was remotely possible to hear the dynamic duo through the rough speakers. A balloon or what looked like a blown-up condom floated back and forth, finally made its way on stage. A shirtless Red Foo took the balloon and did a little thrust action to it. His thrusts were one of many during this song and even the polka-dot bikini clad dancers joined in on the fun. The memorable and raunchy chant, “Legs down, ass up, that’s the way we like to fuck,” got the crowd turned on to the fullest. Radio favorite, “Love Lockdown,” the remix to Kanye West’s hit fulfilled one whistle-blower’s fantasy in the sea of people. Another hit all on their own, “I’m in Miami,” turned into “I’m in Sin City,” instantly causing the crowd to loose their marbles. They murdered it with their performances and all the sweaty faces, not just on stage, but on the dance floor could attest to this one.

Even though the lines were extremely long outside and it shut down early, those who went to Sin City Massive left with a smile of ecstasy on their faces- literally.
