The band’s third greatest hits release appears in the form of this delicious two-disc set covering recordings that span from 1984-2000. It’s just over two hours of your favorite Megadeth hits (v3.0). Really – I don’t know what I could possibly say that would convince you to buy it – you know Megadeth; either you love them or you don’t. In my opinion – it’s fucking Megadeth. They can do no wrong (or maybe they can, we’ve just yet to witness it). You should by now own all of their cds and thus already have everything that is on this record (aside from a couple of previously unreleased live tracks and one demo)..buuut, for you lamo ‘part-time’ fans of anything worth-while who’s music collections consist mainly of prefabricated menial radio garbage with a dash of real music here and there to keep up appearances – buy this record – know it, love it, learn from it…and then go out and buy the rest of their albums when your world is enlightened by the awesome that is the untouchable Megadeth.
