Spastic. Snotty. Sassy. The Nectar’s manage to revive a sense of nonchalant brattiness into a scene that’s seems hyperfocused on aesthetics. While I understand the constant comparisons to Gwen Stefani, Jessica Kenny’s vocal delivery stands on its own, equal parts fun and fuck you.

Funky basslines meet with glistening guitars, indie drumbeats and Kenny’s vocals to create a series of jams that could just as easily be home at your average house show as it would be kicking your face in at any name-brand festival around.
