My first exposure to the wonderful world of enamel pins was seeing a bunch of dorks running around Disneyland, bedazzled in pins, jingling their way through Tomorrowland. Now, I love me some Disneyland, but there guys took it to the limit. That is, until my mother-in-law bought me a sweet Stitch pin. As I stuck Stitch, chugging a drink from a coconut as he rocked a Hawaiian shirt, to my backpack, I thought, “This is pretty cool,” and in the realm of Disney memorabilia, fairly inexpensive.

Then I made the mistake of clicking the hashtag #EnamelPin on Instagram. Now I follow Pin of the Day to discover a wide variety of pin makers and artists. From goofy throwbacks to shows of my youth, to amazing crossovers I could only wish to have come up with, my Instagram feed is chock full of pins (and some patches) that I want, but remind myself that my mortgage payment is slightly more important than having a billion ghost trap pins. Here are a few of my favs for your enjoyment.
