I know… You’re thinking, “A perfect ten!? C’mon Jeff.” Well, I too thought the same thing when this band was recommended to me. Imagine a band that had the ferocity of Every Time I Die, the imagination of Refused, and the vocal range of GlassJaw… Yeah, I’ve got a boner too.  At first listen, I immediately fell in love with the raw energy and growling vocals of Jason Butler, and the swirling, crunchy guitar riffs set along with the loud and intense bass and drums.

“Le Prologue” opens the record with infectious jungle beats with faint vocals in the background. Just before it really kicks in, they shout for revolution and collectively yell “Stand Up.” “We, The Pros Of Con” is a standout track with ferocious vocals, intense guitars and catchy chorus… Then there’s the bridge where they give a very outspoken and raw statement for the masses (you’re going to have to buy the record to hear it). “Homeless Jazz” is by far my favorite track on the album, with its southern vocal style over intense riffage, hard hitting drum fills and thumping bass. There’s a lot of soul and melody in this track, but the interesting part being it is entangled in the mix with the chunky riffs and growling vocals.

Overall this album is a gem and I would even go as far as to call it an instant classic. I am so confident that you’ll love this album, that if you don’t, I’ll run through your town naked. Bank on it.  (SIDE NOTE: After witnessing this band live, I can honestly say they are destined for huge things. You will never meet a more humble, intelligent, passionate group of individuals and you may never see a better live show. I am still in awe of the energy displayed, and the fervor projected from the stage.)
